Why wear a mouthguard?

A mouthguard is a custom-fit acrylic protective appliance made from your dental impressions. A mouthguard is recommended in all contact sports as well as any sport that might pose a risk of injury. It is commonly seen on martial arts athletes, in hockey, soccer, football and baseball.

A mouthguard:
-reduces the risk of a concussion
-reduces the risk of dental and jaw fractures
-reduces lesions to cheeks, tongue and lips
