Endodontics
An endodontic treatment, more commonly known as a root canal, consists of the removal of all infected or necrotic nervous tissue in a tooth, followed by the widening, cleaning and obturation of the canals. This treatment helps save a necrotic or infected tooth without having to proceed with an extraction. Most teeth have between one to four canals.
At our office, we are equipped with a top quality motorized system that allows us to treat the tooth in a predictable, efficient and comfortable manner. The procedure is done under local anesthesia in one or two appointments depending on each case.
