Periodontics

Periodontal diseases are diseases affecting the supportive tissue of the teeth: the bone and the gums. The most common periodontal diseases are gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis is characterized by inflammation and bleeding of the gums and is reversible. However, periodontitis is a more serious condition with deterioration of the gums and the supporting bone. To prevent these diseases, it is important to maintain very good oral hygiene.

At our office, we offer services of scaling, root planing and gingival grafts.
